I'm all in

FullSizeRender.jpgThe American Dream is slipping away for too many Arizonans. Inadequately funded public schools, runaway healthcare costs, and a stagnant local economy means most of Arizona’s families are struggling just to make ends meet. A fifth generation  Arizonan, I was raised to believe that if you work hard and play by the rules, the State of Arizona was full of opportunity and you could have a piece of the American dream – a quality public education, start a business, raise a family, and have a secure retirement. This was true for generations and can be true again, which is why I am running for State House in Legislative District 10.

I have the experience necessary to get results. Earned Masters of Science in Violence, Conflict, and Development from the London School of Oriental and African Studies (Environmental Regulation module from the London School of Economics); Cum Laude BA and BS in Philosophy and Communications from the University of San Francisco and read Philosophy at Blackfriars Hall, Oxford. Instead of pursuing a career in conflict mediation, I returned home to care for my Grandmother. Never looking back, I've spent nearly the last 10 years on the front lines in Arizona bringing diverse coalitions together to achieve incremental and meaningful change for all.

It is time to bring people together around common sense, forward thinking solutions necessary to realize our potential. We can – and must- fund public education in order to improve our economy and create quality, high paying jobs as well as training the next generation of Arizona workers to fill them.

Arizona has a real potential for greatness. Realizing it will take our community working together to create long-term, sustainable solutions. That’s why I’m rolling up my sleeves and doing my part as a candidate for State House in LD 10 and will work to earn your trust and confidence.
